An East View of the Iron Bridge erecting... – bridge 35

This transfer precedes the opening of the Cast Iron Bridge of the River Wear in 1796.

The mug below, from ​the Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens, Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums collection, is the only example I have seen with this transfer.
