A spectacular boxing jug with the transfer with a 'Dixon & Co' printed mark, c 1830.
Below, a creamware mug with the transfer. The mug doesn't have a frog, and is likely 1820s.
Dixon Austin & Co, Sunderland Pottery
The plate below from the Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens, Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums collection, shows a different rendering of the subject, titled 'The Loyal Independent Odd Fellows Arms'. It has a Dixon Austin impress.
Unknown pottery, perhaps Tyneside
The plaque below, whose form and green enamelling perhaps suggest one of the Tyneside potteries, has the title 'Loyal Union' above 'Odd Fellow's Arms'.
