Attributed to Robert Maling, Ouseburn Pottery, Newcastle
Previously these green-flecked jugs have been attributed to North Shields, but I now think they were more likely made by Maling's Ouseburn Pottery in the 1830s.
The jug below has unusual flower decoration around the collar. The flower transfers are found on bowls attributed to Robert Maling.
