Iron Bridge Wermouth (sic) Sunderland – Bridge 23
Attributed to Carr and Patton, North Shields
I've attributed most of these green-flecked jugs to Robert Maling. However, the items below belong to a small group of green-flecked wares that appear to have been made by Carr and Patton at North Shields. Carr and Patton apparently copied their neighbour's decoration. However, on the North Shields items, the green enamel is more neatly applied in tear-drop shapes. Below two unusual variants with flower transfer around the collar.
