View of Cast Iron Bridge – bridge 30

Attributed to Dawson's Low Ford Pottery, bridge 30

This mug, from the Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens, Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums catalogue, has the bridge 30 transfer shown in Baker.  The Museum catalogue attributes this transfer to Dawson, although I am unsure on what basis.  It is a miniature mug (11.8cm high), like the one below.

Unidentified, like bridge 30

​Beneath the title there is an indistinct signature to the left, likely the engraver's name.  His initials appear to be G A K.  Perhaps 'Kirk...'.  To the right, what looks to be the word 'NCastle', ie Newcastle.

The transfer is a much smaller size and appears on miniature tankards.  Se the last photo below for an indication of scale.
