A View of the Cast Iron Bridge over the River Wear – unrecorded
Attributed to Moore & Co, Wear Pottery
The canary yellow jug below has a variation of the bridge transfer similar to the Moore bridge 32, although without the 'Coal Trade' banner and figures on either side.
The other transfer on the canary yellow jug above also appears on items with red and green enamelling particular to Moore's, and the bridge view is attributed to Moore's on that basis,
A small creamware frog mug with what appears to be the same bridge transfer.
Below, a pink-lustre jug with the transfer and an inscription for 1829. It is likely that the canary yellow jug and the creamware mug pre-date it.
