West view of the Cast Iron Bridge... (oval)
Attributed to Carr and Patton, Low Lights, North Shields
This frog mug is attributed to Carr and Patton on the basis that the verse transfer appears on items with decorative features associated with that pottery. The heavily lustred jug beneath it also has transfers attributed to North Shields.
The bridge image on the Fortune Hunter jug below isn't great, but it appears to be from the same copper plate. The lustre decoration on the handle terminating in several horizontal brush strokes is a feature apparently peculiar to North Shields.
The Sunderland Museum & Winter Gardens, Tyne & Wear Archives & Museums catalogue lists the mug below, with blue and black bands, as 'probably' Seaham, but I'm unsure on what basis.
The ship jugs below are not typical of North Shields in terms of decoration, but the bridge transfer appears to come from the same copper plate.

This jug is attributed to Carr and Patton on the basis that the transfer matches those in the section above. However, there are no horizontal lustre marks on the handle.
